Top 10 reasons to be a blogger
Although I was much inspired by Svengali and wanted to embark on my very own Gajrewali Gulabo, Peter Panwala, Kulfi Kukreja, Muthu Murrukusamy kinda posts but like the man says I'm aging rapidly like a turnip and am gonna leave the KK, TT, PP kinda posts to the pro.
To blog or not to blog is the question.
While a blogger might look like a undersexed, malnourished being, blogging has its perks and there are inherent vantages to being a blogger. Infact mom's day was around the corner and the biggest gift you could have given your mom (and yourself) was a blog. It would have kept her occupied, not to mention off your case, while it would be pretty light on the pockets too.
She could go around replying to questions like "mera pass bangla hai, gaadi hai, paisa hai, tumahre pass kya hai" saying "mere pass blog hai !!" , it could also help her buy vegetables more efficiently "barabar tol ke dena warna blog kardoongi"
So here go the top ten reasons to blog.
Number 1 : It could be used as an incentive and its a cheap, effective and efficient way to give a raise.
Number 2: It could help improve your social life....you "meet" people and realize how similar you are.
Number 3: You could write about stuff.
Number 4: You could use it for bhai giri....It's fun to shake things up a bit.
Number 5: You could inherit a lot more than you thought you would....
Number 6: Anonymity has its vantages and you could still be heard.
Number 7: You'll find out what folks really think about you.
Number 8: You will know now that you can't depend upon your writing to put bread, butter or dal, roti on the table. So don't quit your day job yet !
Number 9: You can now lead the dual life you so desired for in the first place
drum roll pliss......
Number 10 : The mother of all reasons to blog and have a blog is actually no rocket science. You can actually BeLOnG somewhere. You could be part of this huge blog cult thing and give yourself a sense of BeLOnG-ING.
Tip of the day
Blog and have fun while doing it. Nowadays my folks inevitably start a conversation with you better not blog this! or are you gonna blog this too? It's fun watching them squirm.

i believe the most top rated reason to blog is you one time to kill and stupid things up his head...
i dont blog that much these days.. please attribute it to time to kill... stupid things always and ever and ever and ever in the head
hilarious! if I would have to add a 11th reason, "Because my close friend / not close friend / prospective mom-in-law / dude down the street / the cat next door has one.." don't have an illustration to go along with that though!

Ram: If I may call you that ? ROFL that made quite a visual. Yes it wouldnt be surprising if moi mom told me she had to post a nice one on her veggie vendors blog. Considering all the folks in apna desh who have a mobile, this wouldn't be an unlikely scenario.
